Mark Harsha: Clinic Director – Throws Coach, Portage High School
Considered one of the top Throws Coaches, Mark has coached the throws for 20+ years. Most of this time has been spent at Portage High School in Portage, Indiana. Mark’s throwers have won several State and National Titles, including Tori Bliss (NCAA DI Shot Runner Up and Jacob Engel - NCAA DI All American). Year in and year out his throwers earn conference, sectional, state, and national honors. Mark holds USA Track & Field Level 1 Certification, is currently a USATF Certified Official in the throws, and a National Throw Coaches Safety Certification instructor. Mark has presented at numerous state and national level clinics.

  • Ken Browner: Head Coach, Carmel High School

  • Roger Einbecker: Throws Coach, Waubonsie Valley High School

  • Bruce “Buzz” Van Horne (Ret.): Former Head Coach, Blackhawk High School – 45 years of experience teaching the throws

  •  Sandra Sampson: Former All American Thrower at Arizona State University. Attended Plymouth High School (Plymouth IN).

  • Coach James Bell: Throws Coach, North Central High School (Indianapolis) – 30+ years of experience coaching throwers.

  • Mike Pendleton: Throws Coach, Genoa High School

  • Lou Lopez: Throws Coach, Merrillville High School – Former Indiana State University Record Holder

  • Rob Lasorsa: National Throws Coaches and M-F Athletic

  • Jacob Engel – All American Shot Putter, Purdue University

  • Matthias Tayala: Kent State University – 2014 NCAA Division I Hammer NATIONAL CHAMPION

  • Sean Donnelly: University of Mount Union – NCAA Division III NATIONAL CHAMPION and NCAA RECORD HOLDER (35lb Wt Throw)
